August 17, 2016 Each year on the 15th of August the Embassy organises a commemoration at the Kanchanaburi War Cemeteries Don Ruk and Chungkai to remember and honor those who suffered during World War II in Asia.

August 12, 2016 According to the latest information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, four Dutch nationals were injured yesterday in the bomb attack in Hua Hin, Thailand. Three of the victims, women aged 49, 23 and 18, are still in hospital. The former two are seriously injured, the 18-year-old has minor injuries. The fourth victim, a man aged 72, was able to leave hospital after treatment.
